BelmontRadioWorks was created by my good friend Theo Keetell.

It’s just a simple idea to share some music through podcasts and videos amongst friends. We’re going to stay rooted in that, but we’re going to throw the occasional “I thought we’d share this nugget of info” type thing once in a while.

The audio podcasts aren’t meant to be audio mixes featuring the rarest, most obscure, coolest, highly exclusive, latest and greatest of today. But rather some good songs that we like, new and maybe some old. We’re treating them more like a weekly college radio show. You know how it goes… about 5 minutes of prep before you go on air, then an hour or two of flying by the seat of your pants and going with what feels right at that particular moment. We miss those days around here, so we think we can re-live some of that all over again, but in digital/online form.

This is BelmontRadioWorks. It’s just music. Simple.

I just created my first podcast with BRW and I am pretty stoked about it. Please take a listen. Also make sure to sign up for the rest of these awesome musical studies.

“As I have grown a bit older I often compare and contrast the musical evolutions with bands from my youth. I often yearn for those pinnacle HOLY SHIT moments when a song would play on the radio and just speak to you. So here we have some favorites of mine. Nowadays I love my plaid, but I kind of miss my flannel and Marshall stacks. I can appreciate the folkiness of Fleet Foxes or Bon Iver, but sometimes you just want someone to smash an amp with a Fender. But all things come back around and I don’t anticipate having to wait too long for the next wave of WOW moments.”
