Ever have one of those days where you realize you could have been less lazy, more driven, smarter, faster, or just plain better? I guess this just made me realize what we all know is true, that younger kids are moving at lightspeed and we are left trying to catch up as they CONSUME all that is given to them in our ever smaller world connected by a million blogs, constant updates, status, or tweets.

Meet Tavi. Tavi is 12-years-old. Tavi is a funny, witty, girl who looooooves fashion. She is consuming, blogging, commenting, documenting and creating her own style mostly from thrift and just pure intuitive style sense. Was I this cool at her age? No way. Would I have wanted her to be my friend? I sure hope my 12 year old self would have recognized the talent emerging.

This Style Rookie is going to be something to reckon with, while she is very young and things change, for right now, Tavi is the new cooler Andy, from Pretty in Pink.
