I made a trip this weekend with an excellent road partner up to the Dia: Beacon galleries in Beacon, NY. Full of major contemporary artists including Richard Serra, On Kawara, and Warhol. It is definitely worth the trip and the surrounding area is a stark contrast to city environs we live in. Right on the Hudson River, a perfect day trip to see some amazing art and scenery.
